Tegria Secures CloudWave, Strengthening Cybersecurity and Cloud Hosting Capabilities

CloudWave

Tegria, a worldwide provider of healthcare services, has announced the acquisition of CloudWave today. The new company offers advanced services in cybersecurity, cloud hosting, and managed IT services, tailored to meet the needs of the healthcare industry. It is an important step in strengthening the existing basic infrastructure services provided by Tegria in the healthcare industry.

Additionally, CloudWave integration into Tegria’s hosting environment makes this move a step toward building up the resilience of operations. It offers specialized threat intelligence, superior data security, and enterprise cloud management services. Thus, healthcare organizations can effectively navigate through difficult technological landscapes.

“Healthcare organizations face unprecedented operational complexity and heightened cybersecurity risks,” said Craig Mengert, Chief Executive Officer, Tegria. “By bringing CloudWave into the Tegria family, we are strengthening our ability to deliver highly secure, scalable, and resilient hosting solutions. Our combined capabilities create an end-to-end solutions partner equipped to support healthcare organizations through every stage of their digital evolution.”

Expanding Cybersecurity and SOC Operations

In particular, the deal will help integrate hosting platforms with CloudWave’s knowledge in security operations centers. The clients in the healthcare industry will benefit from increased technical resources, advanced infrastructure, and innovation. In the meantime, the existing client accounts will have uninterrupted services from their respective teams.

Following the acquisition, CloudWave CEO Erik Littlejohn will assume a new leadership role. He will serve as President of Enterprise Technical Solutions at Tegria. In this position, Littlejohn will drive growth across hosting, cybersecurity, data analytics, and application support.

“I am excited about what this means for our team and our clients,” said Littlejohn. “Joining Tegria allows us to scale our security and cloud hosting solutions across a broader platform while remaining deeply committed to our core mission of supporting healthcare.”

Private Equity Growth and Strategic Scale

This strategic addition marks Tegria’s first major acquisition since joining Altaris as a portfolio company earlier this year. Altaris operates as a New York-based healthcare investment firm. Moreover, this milestone position strengthens CloudWave’s technology within Tegria’s expanding ecosystem.

Through this acquisition, Tegria reinforces its market commitment to healthcare cybersecurity and cloud infrastructure.
