Enterprise data protection leader Commvault officially announced a major addition to its executive leadership team today. Specifically, the company appointed industry veteran Brian Lanigan to the role of Chief Partner Officer.
Consequently, Lanigan takes charge of the Global Partner Organization immediately as Chief Partner Officer. He reports directly to Geoff Haydon, who serves as President of Customer and Field Operations. In this new position, Lanigan will spearhead the global partner strategy for the firm. Additionally, he will scale relationships with hyperscalers, distributors, and managed service providers (MSPs). Meanwhile, he will also focus on expanding ties with systems integrators and strategic technology partners.

Mr. Lanigan joins Commvault with vast experience. He boasts of more than two decades of professional expertise. Before joining Commvault, Mr. Lanigan was able to develop and expand high-performing channel organizations. His remarkable experience cuts across cybersecurity and enterprise software sectors. He served in leadership positions at SentinelOne, Lacework, Splunk, and HP Software.During those tenures, he consistently unlocked partner-led revenue opportunities. Ultimately, these efforts strengthened vital strategic alliances and grew cloud services ecosystems.
