CACI Wins $500M C-UAS IDIQ Contract as JIATF-401 Deploys SkyValor

CACI International Inc has secured a three-year $500 million contract to supply advanced counter-drone technology. Under the initial task order, JIATF-401 will deploy CACI’s SkyValor system to strategic locations.

The system rapidly detects, tracks, and neutralizes hostile unmanned aerial threats. Consequently, defenders receive earlier warnings and crucial extra time to respond effectively.

Enhancing Mobile Defense Capabilities Across Critical Sites

Previously, JIATF-401 conducted rigorous operational evaluations at Marine Corps Air Station Yuma. The platform successfully detected and defeated small drone threats beyond line of sight. Furthermore, its extended detection range offers operators several minutes to act rather than mere seconds. Following these impressive field tests, JIATF-401 approved full-rate production and deployment.

This major award expands an earlier agreement between the defense firm and JIATF-401. Under that initial commercial contract, CACI delivered four specialized SkyValor units mounted on heavy-duty trucks. Therefore, this gains a highly mobile defense system capable of stopping cellular-enabled drones. Ultimately, this partnership strengthens national security operations at critical locations nationwide.
