Absolute Security expanded its Autonomous Cyber Resilience platform to support Linux endpoints today. This critical update gives public and private organizations a single console to manage AI endpoints. Users can now monitor Windows, Chrome, Mac, and Linux devices seamlessly from one place.
Enhancing Control Across Critical AI Infrastructure
Frontier AI now drives modern business workflows and corporate technology strategies worldwide. Consequently, companies must integrate AI into every system to remain competitive. They must also defend these systems against advanced, AI-driven cyber threats.
Many organizations prefer Linux for its high stability and flexibility. It works exceptionally well in complex environments using open-source tools. However, cybercriminals now target Linux endpoints more frequently than before. Therefore, security teams must prioritize defense, compliance, and rapid recovery. Without continuous visibility, unmanaged devices quickly become severe security hazards. Absolute Security addresses this vulnerability by extending its reach across all major operating systems.
“In today’s threat landscape and with AI moving critical workloads and data to endpoints of all OS types, no organization can allow any of their devices to go unmanaged. Without continuous visibility, control, and remediation, unmanaged devices are incidents just waiting to happen,” said John Herrema, Chief Product Officer at Absolute Security. “With a firmware-embedded presence in 600 million endpoints and now support for Linux, Absolute Security continues to provide the most comprehensive security and operational resilience capabilities across all the endpoints that power AI-driven productivity.”
Powerful Capabilities for Enterprise Environments
The new release supports Ubuntu and Red Hat Enterprise Linux workstation distributions. Customers gain immediate access to accurate hardware inventory data collection tools. Additionally, administrators can apply device freeze commands on demand or via automated schedules. This function works on both online and offline machines effortlessly.
Higher product tiers offer automated patching, remediation, and active software recovery. Thus, IT teams can maintain operational stability across their entire network infrastructure.
Advanced Product Upgrades and Feature Enhancements
In another development, Absolute Security also unveiled several updates to its Secure Access platform. The Security Service Edge platform simplifies IT by offering the key management functionality in one place. The firm is now able to automate compliance enforcement upon the release of new software updates. Furthermore, AI-based location tracking also keeps tabs on locations with logs.
Federal agencies can issue remote freezes, wipes, and restores using the FedRAMP Authorization process. Proactive AI solutions can identify and solve Wi-Fi problems even before they report any ticket for such problems. It offers native support for Apple Silicon Macs on the latest version of macOS. Lastly, Absolute Secure Access has the ability to run in self-hosted environments.
