Bitdefender has made a huge deal with Aruba S.p.A. As a result, this partnership enables the provision of cybersecurity services in Europe right in Italy. This is because of the fact that customer data will not be allowed to go anywhere but within the European Union borders. In addition, Bitdefender retains full operational management over its hosted software environment.
Under this new agreement, Aruba will resell the complete portfolio of security products from Bitdefender. Specifically, the offering includes threat prevention, endpoint protection, detection, and incident response services. Central to this integration is Bitdefender GravityZone, hosted directly on Aruba’s infrastructure. Moreover, all customer data stays fully encrypted under strict protocol controls. Thus, Bitdefender provides comprehensive threat coverage across the entire digital attack chain.

This initiative targets European organizations facing stringent data residency requirements. For instance, public sector agencies, healthcare systems, and financial institutions require complete jurisdictional isolation. Furthermore, energy, manufacturing, and critical infrastructure firms must satisfy complex GDPR, NIS2, and DORA frameworks. Therefore, Bitdefender delivers verified compliance through localized data processing within Italy.
