Everforth ECS recently secured a prime spot on a major federal contract. The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission awarded the team a position on its $58 million Data Solutions Blanket Purchase Agreement. Out of six selected vendors, Everforth ECS also captured the initial $1.7 million task order. This one-year project supports critical federal data modernization initiatives across the agency. Furthermore, Everforth ECS partnered with Novaren Systems to effectively manage delivery requirements and ensure smooth project execution.
Through this strategic partnership, Everforth ECS will transform the agency’s core data infrastructure and technical analytics capabilities. The team aims to streamline consumer protection operations across national markets. By improving data collection, governance, and integration, Everforth ECS enables faster decision-making processes. Consequently, regulatory officials can identify emerging product hazards much earlier.

Comprehensive Data Transformation and Cloud Infrastructure Capabilities
Under the BPA agreement, Everforth ECS will deliver broad technical support across several key operational areas:
- Comprehensive data lake modernization initiatives
- Cloud-native data engineering architecture
- Enterprise data governance implementation
- Advanced metadata management systems
- Artificial intelligence and machine learning enablement
- Seamless migration of legacy SAS environments to open-source platforms
Additionally, Everforth ECS will help CPSC upgrade its Sentinel and National Electronic Injury Surveillance System platforms. The agency actively modernizes NEISS to replace outdated manual processes with automated surveillance capabilities. Officials expect this modernized injury surveillance system to become fully operational by early 2027.
“Under the BPA’s first task order, we’ll help modernize CPSC’s data foundation by migrating legacy, on-premises SAS environments to a governed, cloud-native data platform,” said Asad Akhtar, Science and Engineering business unit leader at Everforth ECS. “That foundation will give CPSC a stronger platform for analytics and AI, helping the agency identify patterns earlier, make better-informed decisions, and improve consumer safety.”
