As national discussions grow, aging U.S. infrastructure needs urgent repair. Bentley Systems, Incorporated (Nasdaq: BSY), announced a major federal security achievement today. ProjectWise earned FedRAMP Authorization at the Moderate Impact Level. OpenGround also achieved FedRAMP Authorization at the Moderate Impact Level. ProjectWise supports connected data environments for infrastructure project delivery. OpenGround handles geotechnical data and reporting for infrastructure teams.
FedRAMP stands for Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program. It assists federal organizations to embrace secure cloud solutions quickly. Bentley’s authorization allows federal organizations to employ secure cloud solutions. It also enhances data-enabled workflows for infrastructure initiatives nationally. The infrastructure initiatives encompass transport, water management, defense, and environmental sectors.
Digital Workflows Enable Modernization
Digital workflows enable federal organizations to advance their infrastructure delivery plans. They also facilitate coordination among various federal departments. Agencies can adopt AI and digital twin technologies faster. They can also use connected construction and geotechnical intelligence tools. All services run within a fully compliant FedRAMP authorized environment.
“The FedRAMP authorization signals Bentley’s longstanding commitment to trust, compliance, and safeguarding critical infrastructure information while improving how agencies securely share and manage project data in the cloud,” said Julien Moutte, chief technology officer, Bentley Systems. “ProjectWise and OpenGround provide a trusted digital foundation for federal infrastructure programs, connecting surface and subsurface intelligence in secure cloud environments to accelerate project delivery and improve infrastructure resilience, all while meeting the highest U.S. government security standards.”
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers sponsored this authorization. ProjectWise Design Integration now supports several federal infrastructure initiatives. OpenGround is also available for government project needs. Bentley plans to add more ProjectWise services soon.
