Hexnode, the enterprise software division of Mitsogo, announced the launch of Hexnode IdP, a native identity layer. The platform offers enterprise-grade authentication and identity management services under a single umbrella for modern enterprise environments. Hexnode developed the Hexnode IdP platform to integrate identity, endpoint management, and enterprise security under a single umbrella for the modern enterprise environment. The platform enables organizations to run with more confidence and control in the face of rapidly changing and evolving cybersecurity threats.
Hexnode introduced Hexnode IdP as a new Identity Provider, expanding the overall Hexnode ecosystem and strengthening the overall identity landscape. The platform is a full-fledged identity engine, natively integrated with the overall Hexnode UEM platform. The integration enables organizations to utilize Hexnode’s proprietary Device Trust Engine for context-aware security policy enforcement. The engine checks the device posture in real time before granting access to the organization’s systems and applications. Consequently, organizations reduce dependency on premium third-party tools traditionally required for core enterprise access control capabilities.
Unified Device-Aware Access Controls
Hexnode IdP provides the assurance that the decisions made for access are based on the identification of the user as well as the compliance status of the device in real-time. Unified Access and Authentication brings together the login, SSO, and MFA capabilities for users, enterprise devices, and applications under one umbrella. Compliance-Based Access prevents users from attempting to log in from devices marked as unenrolled or non-compliant in the UEM system. Continuous Zero Trust enforcement verifies device posture continuously and revokes access immediately when security risks appear.
“The future of enterprise security lies in converging identity and device intelligence into a single, cohesive control plane,” said Apu Pavithran, CEO and Founder of Hexnode. “Access can’t be treated as a one-time event – it must be continuously validated against evolving risk signals. Hexnode IdP reflects our commitment to unifying identity, endpoint management, and security into an integrated architecture that helps organizations operate with greater confidence and control in a rapidly changing threat landscape.”
Centralized Identity Governance and Control
Hexnode IdP integrates with widely used directories while centralizing governance and identity administration inside the Hexnode platform. The platform synchronizes easily with Microsoft Entra ID, Google Workspace, and other major enterprise identity directories. Automated provisioning manages the full user lifecycle and automates group provisioning across connected enterprise applications. Application Access and SSO enable secure application integration and allow users to access connected enterprise systems after one login.
Role-Based Access Control enables administrators to assign permissions using least-privilege administrative roles. Security controls and reporting tools help administrators monitor access patterns and strengthen enterprise security governance. The system blocks rooted, jailbroken, or unencrypted devices through deep integration with Hexnode UEM security policies. Hexnode plans to expand Hexnode IdP with adaptive access controls, just-in-time provisioning, and advanced risk analysis capabilities.
