Sectigo and F5 have expanded their collaboration to advance Certificate Lifecycle Management across the F5 Application Delivery and Security Platform (ADSP). This move strengthens certificate lifecycle management capabilities for enterprise environments. Moreover, it supports automated SSL/TLS certificate operations across distributed infrastructures.
Sectigo, a global leader in automated Certificate Lifecycle Management, has partnered with F5 to improve certificate operations across F5 ADSP. As a result, organizations can now automatically issue, deploy, renew, and replace SSL/TLS certificates. Additionally, this reduces manual workloads and minimizes outage risks across F5 environments.
Furthermore, Sectigo joins as a select partner in the F5 ADSP Partner Program. Consequently, it helps organizations manage certificates at scale. In addition, renewal cycles for SSL/TLS certificates have shortened to six months. It results in increased operational pressure on the IT department and the security team. The Sectigo Certificate Manager (SCM) integrates the management of certificate lifecycle in F5 ADSP. This indicates that certificates can be managed in premise, hybrid, cloud, and edge-based infrastructure. It is a great move for the collaboration between Sectigo and F5. In addition, it enhances enterprise readiness in addressing existing security threats.
Improvements in Automation using F5 BIG-IP
The automated certificate management provided by Sectigo applies to F5 BIG-IP infrastructure in F5 ADSP. Through SCM integration, organizations can issue and renew SSL/TLS certificates automatically. Additionally, this reduces manual intervention and operational errors. Therefore, enterprises gain stronger reliability and improved uptime for business-critical applications.
“The partnership between F5 and Sectigo helps F5 users stay ahead of a growing operational challenge managing certificates as renewal cycles accelerate,” said Henry Lam, Field CTO at Sectigo. “By integrating automated Certificate Lifecycle Management directly into F5 ADSP environments, Sectigo Certificate Manager helps teams eliminate manual certificate renewal work, reduce the risk of outages, and maintain consistent security across applications. Together, Sectigo and F5 give organizations a more reliable way to keep critical services available today, while establishing a strong foundation for a quantum-ready future.”
“F5 customers depend on our platform to simplify and scale application delivery and security in complex environments,” said John Maddison, Chief Marketing Officer at F5. “By working closely with Sectigo, we’re bringing advanced Certificate Lifecycle Management automation directly into F5 ADSP-helping joint customers reduce risk, streamline operations, and establish long‑term readiness as security requirements continue to evolve.”
