RSA Unveils ID Plus Sovereign Deployment for Advanced Identity Security

Sovereign Deployment

RSA ID Plus Sovereign Deployment is a significant leap forward in identity security solutions. The solution has been announced today at the RSAC Conference 2026 in San Francisco by RSA. Furthermore, RSA ID Plus Sovereign Deployment has been created to meet the rising demands for regulatory needs and cyber threats. Today, organizations need to be available all the time and need to ensure data sovereignty compliance. Therefore, RSA has created this solution to meet these needs effectively.

RSA ID Plus Sovereign Deployment builds on the existing RSA ID Plus platform. It delivers a complete identity and access management solution. This includes multi-factor authentication, single sign-on, and advanced access controls. In addition, the solution introduces a powerful “deploy anywhere” capability. Organizations can deploy it across private cloud, multi-cloud, on-premises, and air-gapped environments. As a result, enterprises gain flexibility without compromising security standards.

Unlike many vendors, RSA offers full-stack identity capabilities across all environments. Consequently, organizations avoid limitations tied to licensing or deployment choices. This approach ensures consistent security and operational continuity.

“RSA ID Plus Sovereign Deployment is a direct response to the intensifying regulatory landscape, operational realities, and emerging threats that our customers face,” said RSA CEO Greg Nelson. “We built this solution for high-assurance organizations where failure is not an option and where compromise is a non-starter. RSA ID Plus Sovereign Deployment ensures that government agencies, financial services, healthcare, and critical infrastructure maintain the highest standards for data sovereignty, regulatory compliance, and security integrity.”

Advanced Security and Compliance Capabilities

Furthermore, RSA ID Plus Sovereign Deployment aligns with key global regulations and frameworks. These include Executive Order 14028, OMB M-22-09, OMB M2-24-14, NIS2, and DORA. Therefore, organizations can confidently meet strict compliance requirements. The solution also delivers unified identity services across all environments. It combines authentication, access management, directory services, and identity governance. This integrated approach improves operational efficiency and strengthens security posture. Additionally, RSA introduces phishing-resistant passwordless authentication. This feature eliminates common attack vectors across cloud, desktop, and datacenter systems. Even during outages, offline passwordless options maintain strong protection.

“In a threat landscape where standing still is its own vulnerability, RSA is raising the bar,” said RSA Federal and Strategic President Kevin Orr. “RSA ID Plus Sovereign Deployment is the first and only full stack identity solution that enables government agencies, financial services, critical infrastructure, and healthcare organizations to modernize their identity infrastructure while meeting regulatory requirements and supporting operational complexity-without ever compromising on security or availability.”

RSA ID Plus Sovereign Deployment also enhances threat protection capabilities. It uses RSA Mobile Lock and RSA Risk AI to defend against advanced attacks. Meanwhile, RSA Help Desk Live Verify prevents fraud during support interactions. Finally, the platform improves resilience during outages. When used with RSA Authentication Manager, it ensures uninterrupted authentication services, which is beneficial to organizations. At the RSAC Conference 2026, RSA will launch RSA ID Plus Sovereign Deployment at Booth N 6253.
