Cloud Security: Marvell, Microsoft Expand Azure HSM Services in Europe

Marvell Azure

Due‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌ to new security certifications, Marvell has broadened the scope of its Azure HSM services in Europe. The updated Microsoft collaboration now lets customers across Europe access enhanced cloud security features powered by Marvell LiquidSecurity hardware.

Consequently, Microsoft Azure can now offer cloud services for identity verification, cross-border contract authentication, and secure transaction handling. These functionalities help in cutting the expenses, reducing the operational overhead, and speeding up the processing times.

At the beginning of this year, Marvell’s LiquidSecurity HSMs were awarded the European security certifications eIDAS and Common Criteria EAL4+. These certificates confirm compliance with strict EU trust requirements and also position the units as essential credentials, enabling broader adoption.

Both companies’ leadership strongly desire to be at the forefront of security and compliance. The expansion was welcomed by Microsoft as a solution to identity and passport-related services needs. Marvell said its PCIe-based HSM modules are energy-efficient, require less rack space, and deliver high performance with strong scalability.

The enhancement is behind the cloud security offer in Europe, which is a good addition to the existing services in Asia and North America. Cloud providers & enterprises can shift from complex hardware to flexible cloud HSM subscriptions supporting secure records, encryption, PKI, and transactions.

To summarize, the consolidated partnership of Marvell and Microsoft strengthens global cloud security and expands scalable, compliant, efficient HSM services across Europe.
