Lorex Technology officially launched its latest professional security solutions today. The company introduced the new V7 4K PoE Camera and VF 16-Channel NVR. This expansion enhances the growing V Series ecosystem for residential and commercial spaces. Both units deliver HD video surveillance over a single Ethernet cable. Therefore, setup is easy, and network performance is greatly improved. Furthermore, this update establishes new standards for low-light recording and recording capacity.
The V7 camera offers the best low-light recording on the market. It captures colorful images in low light without the need for bright spotlights. And the ultra-wide lens easily covers large driveways and commercial parking lots. It has license plate recognition features when used with the NVR. It also preserves straight lines in footage through lens distortion correction. The camera is built with IP67-rated weatherproofing to reliably withstand harsh outdoor conditions.
Meanwhile, the existing V3 and V5 cameras continue to serve important property needs. Active deterrence lighting and smart alerts on the Entry V3 camera. Line crossing detection and AI image enhancement are also included in the V5 camera. Today, the all-new V Series line allows property owners to have complete control over system customization.
Centralized NVR Hub Subscription-Free Scalable Storage
To better support larger security installations, Lorex has released the VF 16-Channel NVR. The central hub can support up to sixteen concurrent high-res video feeds. Thus, it provides the computational power needed for advanced facial recognition tasks. With plenty of local storage, you can store weeks of security footage securely. That means customers don’t pay mandatory monthly cloud subscription fees at all.
Additionally, the system features fanless cooling technology for whisper-quiet operation. This ensures minimal noise disruption across residential living spaces or quiet offices. For smaller sites, the existing 8-channel VC NVR offers identical subscription-free convenience.
