Kyndryl Foundation Expands Grants to 13 Countries, Deepens Support for Cybersecurity and AI Skills Development

Kyndryl Foundation expands its global grants program to strengthen cybersecurity and AI skills development worldwide. The initiative now spans 13 countries, including France and Mexico. Kyndryl Foundation, the philanthropic arm of Kyndryl, announced its third-year global grant recipients. The program continues to grow steadily. It now supports cybersecurity and AI skills development at a larger scale.

Moreover, the initiative funds hands-on training, mentoring, and job-readiness programs. Independent nonprofits deliver these programs across regions. As a result, the foundation expects to impact over 100,000 individuals globally. Additionally, the latest grant portfolio supports existing partners while welcoming new organizations. These groups focus on cybersecurity training, AI education, and digital inclusion. Therefore, the program strengthens workforce readiness in the evolving digital economy.

Kyndryl Foundation continues to prioritize practical training and career preparation. The grants support programs that deliver real-world cybersecurity and AI skills. Furthermore, these programs align with government-led workforce initiatives.

Several nonprofit organizations will benefit from the third-year grants:

Article 1 in France will enhance youth employability through STEM education. It will integrate AI tools into mentoring platforms. Additionally, it will train 4,000 students in AI literacy.

CLACK in Japan will deliver its “Be Pro Cybersecurity” course. The program will support 700 students from underserved backgrounds. It will also expand their career opportunities.

Czechitas in Czechia will offer cybersecurity training programs. It will certify 110 individuals and train 1,000 participants. Moreover, it will reach 50,000 people through awareness campaigns.

Data Security Council of India will expand its Cyber Vaahini program. It will train 50 individuals and establish a new training center in Delhi. The center will offer hands-on experience and mentorship.

Fair Chance Futures in the United States will scale its AI workforce pathways program. It will support 1,000 fellows and provide job placement assistance.

Fundación Cibervoluntarios in Spain will expand its #RetoHacker program. It will train 10,000 young individuals in cybersecurity. Additionally, it aims to reach 300,000 people through awareness initiatives.

Generation: You Employed in the UK will run boot camps for 400 individuals. These programs will support careers in cybersecurity and technology.

Girl Security in the United States will develop a cybersecurity talent pipeline. It will support over 1,200 participants by 2027. It will also expand its mentor network and learning platforms.

Joint Economic Development Initiative (JEDI) in Canada will support Indigenous communities. It will train 60 students in IT and cybersecurity. Participants will access internships and job opportunities.

Junior Achievement Americas will run the “She is Digital” program. It will train 720 individuals in Brazil and Costa Rica. The program focuses on cybersecurity and employability.

Laboratoria in Mexico will expand access to digital education. It will train 200 individuals in cybersecurity fundamentals. It will also enhance job readiness.

Mamo Pracuj Foundation in Poland will run “The Cyber Women Pro” program. It will certify 400 individuals in cybersecurity basics. Additionally, it will support advanced certifications.

NPO Sodateage Net in Japan will empower youth through employment programs. It will train nearly 1,500 individuals in cybersecurity. It will also support job placement efforts.

United Way Hungary will expand its cybersecurity training program. It will reach 3,500 students through classroom and e-learning modules. It will also train educators.
