First Horizon Names Leilani Farol Chief Information Security Officer

First Horizon today announced the appointment of Leilani Farol as its new Chief Information Security Officer (CISO). She will shape and execute the enterprise cybersecurity strategy and strengthen the company’s security framework.

Leadership Appointment and Responsibilities

First Horizon named Farol as Senior Vice President and Chief Information Security Officer, effective immediately. This will include oversight of the cybersecurity strategy, client data, and client privacy. Also, Farol will enhance threat detection, risk management, and security training within the organization.

Farol’s Career and Expertise

Farol brings more than 25 years of cybersecurity leadership and risk management expertise. She has directed enterprise technology strategy and large system implementations across sectors. Most recently, she served as Head of Governance, Risk and Compliance at Fidelity Investments. There, she led the execution of a multi-year enterprise-wide cybersecurity strategy. Before that, she was Senior Vice President, Cyber Security – Global Information Security at Bank of America. Farol also held several technology leadership roles at JPMorgan Chase & Co.
