EPAM Joins Microsoft Intelligent Security Association to Strengthen Cybersecurity Collaboration

Security Association

EPAM Systems, Inc. announced it has joined the Microsoft Intelligent Security Association (MISA). The ecosystem comprises software developers as well as security services partners that work together to integrate solutions with Microsoft Security technologies. The ecosystem assists customers in fighting various cyber threats that are emerging globally.

Strengthening Cybersecurity Collaboration

EPAM partners with the Microsoft Intelligent Security Association to enhance collaboration with Microsoft to boost cybersecurity within enterprises. The partnership is a testament to EPAM’s expertise in security as well as its collaboration with Microsoft on various security technologies and platforms.

“Joining MISA as a services partner reflects the maturity of EPAM’s security services and marks an important milestone in the evolution of our existing collaboration with Microsoft,” said Elaina Shekhter, SVP, Chief Strategy and Transformation Officer, EPAM. “Being part of the MISA ecosystem is a meaningful validation of how we deliver Microsoft-aligned security services at scale, and it reinforces our commitment to helping joint customers build security capabilities that are resilient in production and designed for long-term outcomes.”

EPAM delivers security services through an engineering-led approach focused on Microsoft Security technologies and enterprise cybersecurity integration. The company supports platforms including Microsoft Sentinel and Microsoft Defender XDR for unified security management.

Advancing Security Innovation with Microsoft

EPAM helps clients integrate security tools into unified platforms instead of isolated implementations across their digital environments. This approach improves threat detection, response capabilities, and operational efficiency across complex enterprise infrastructures.

For joint customers, MISA membership strengthens ecosystem alignment and deepens technical collaboration between EPAM and Microsoft. Customers gain stronger coordination across the Microsoft security ecosystem and improved security outcomes in production environments.

“The Microsoft Intelligent Security Association has grown into a vibrant ecosystem comprised of the most reliable and trusted security vendors across the globe,” said Maria Thomson, Director, Microsoft Intelligent Security Association. “Our members, like EPAM, share Microsoft’s commitment to collaboration within the cybersecurity community to improve our customers’ ability to predict, detect, and respond to security threats faster.”

Microsoft established MISA in 2018 to unite security vendors and Microsoft leaders. The initiative promotes collaboration against threats and supports intelligent security solutions operating at an AI scale.
