Datavault AI Inc. announced a key executive appointment today. The company named Frank Deo as Chief Technology Officer of its Acoustic Sciences Division. In his new role, Deo leads engineering development across multiple proprietary platforms. Specifically, he oversees ADIO, WiSA, Event Citadel, and API Media spatial audio technologies.
Furthermore, his team advances data-over-sound signaling and live-event system operations globally. Previously, Deo served as Vice President of New Media Technology at API Media. He now reports directly to David Reese, President of the Acoustic Sciences Division.

This executive move directly supports corporate restructuring plans announced earlier this year. Datavault AI continues evaluating a potential dividend spin-out of the Acoustic Sciences Division into an independent public firm. The proposed transaction is subject to approval by the board, definitive agreements, and regulatory approvals.
Deo’s strategic leadership will consolidate four distinct engineering stacks into one platform. He also intends to deploy AI-assisted development tools across all operations teams. Deo brings over 30 years of experience in large-scale media and software engineering. Formerly, he held executive roles at Imagine Communications, 605, Cadent, Johnson & Johnson, and Comcast. Furthermore, he won a Technical Emmy Award and holds 31 issued patents.
His extensive background strengthens the Acoustic Sciences Division during this key expansion phase.
