SentinelOne and Lenovo Broaden Partnership to Bring AI Security & Governance to the ThinkShield Security Portfolio

ThinkShield Security

SentinelOne and Lenovo have officially announced a major expansion of their global partnership. The tech leaders will integrate advanced AI protection into the ThinkShield Security portfolio.

Consequently, this collaboration builds directly upon Lenovo’s existing endpoint detection and response framework. It introduces deep visibility and policy control over autonomous AI agents across connected devices. Furthermore, the partnership deploys SentinelOne Prompt Security across all hardware endpoints.

As artificial intelligence moves into daily corporate operations, enterprises face new digital risks. Organizations need complete visibility and real-time control over internal AI usage. Therefore, upgrading the ThinkShield Security architecture helps security teams prevent data leaks and shadow AI usage.

“Security leaders are being asked to enable AI across the business and answer for where company data goes,” said Melissa K. Smith, SVP, Global Strategic Partnerships and Initiatives at SentinelOne. “SentinelOne Prompt Security gives them visibility into the AI tools in use and control over how data is shared, protecting against data leakage, prompt injection, and AI misuse. Through Lenovo ThinkShield, we are bringing that control to more organizations as they adopt AI.”

Meanwhile, leadership at Lenovo emphasized the importance of building trust during rapid digital transformation.

“As AI shifts from assisting people to acting on their behalf, trust becomes even more of a priority,” said Nima Baiati, Vice President and General Manager, Commercial Software and Security Solutions, Lenovo. “Security teams need to know not only which AI tools are in use, but also how those tools interact with corporate data, devices and digital assets. SentinelOne Prompt Security adds another layer of trust into our ThinkShield ecosystem, providing the proactive AI governance and end-to-end security foundation organizations need to accelerate AI adoption safely, reduce risk, and maintain control.”

Enhancing Enterprise Control Across Connected Endpoints

The addition of SentinelOne Prompt Security significantly enhances the core ThinkShield Security framework. First, security teams can easily discover both sanctioned applications and unauthorized shadow AI tools.

Second, the solution effectively stops sensitive corporate data from being fed into unapproved third-party models. Therefore, employees can confidently use AI efficiency solutions without risking their organization’s confidential intelligence. Third, administrators have the option of enforcing real-time governance policies automatically through all current workforce endpoints.

Additionally, such development is fully integrated with current ThinkShield Security endpoint protection features. Companies may also leverage the integration with Lenovo Security Services. In such a manner, business customers will be able to build cyber resilience when adopting modern AI solutions.

Ultimately, this holistic solution shields corporate assets from prompt injection attacks and any form of data leakage. The improved version of ThinkShield Security provides organizations with full control over their operations. Additionally, it helps modern businesses safely adopt automation technology in all internal departments. Thus, the improved ThinkShield Security ecosystem becomes a stable basis for further technological development.
