ISACA Foundation is pleased to announce the opening of its latest scholarship application process. The international program seeks to expand the access of students to necessary educational and career opportunities. The program will assist those who aspire to work in highly sought-after digital trust professions such as cybersecurity and IT audit.
The organization encourages applications from individuals who traditionally lack access to tech industry resources. Formerly operating as One In Tech, the ISACA Foundation has awarded over $1.5 million in funding since 2022. The program has successfully helped more than 800 students enter technical academic paths. For example, 229 students received financial awards during last year’s funding round alone. Furthermore, women account for 51 percent of total recipients. Furthermore, 41 percent of awardees in global cohorts are first-generation students.
Expanding Access to Digital Trust Careers
Selected recipients get direct higher education funding and the full ISACA Career Building Bundle. This professional toolkit connects emerging scholars directly with the large global ISACA community. This opens up valuable certification prep materials and long-term professional networks. These tools offer one-on-one mentorship from experienced IT and cybersecurity professionals. Additionally, the ISACA Foundation is launching a new student mentorship cohort for all new scholars this year. Participants join guided conversations with industry leaders to accelerate leadership skills and career growth. The ISACA Foundation hosts two annual application cycles to support undergraduate and graduate students at various academic stages. Financial awards range from $500 to $5,000 depending on specific scholarship criteria.
“Through the ISACA Foundation scholarships and the support that accompanies them, the Foundation is committed to helping more students build the necessary skills, connections and confidence to pursue meaningful careers in cybersecurity, IT audit, and other digital trust fields,” said Sara Hill, Senior Manager, ISACA Workforce Advancement Programs.
The ISACA Foundation actively expands its global impact by partnering with corporate sponsors and local ISACA chapters. Consequently, the program’s overall geographic footprint grew significantly from 29 countries to 41 countries this year.

Meanwhile, continuous academic funding creates sustainable pathways for underrepresented communities in technology fields. Ultimately, the ISACA Foundation strengthens global digital security standards by preparing diverse talent for future industry challenges.
