Evolv Technology Accelerates Market Reach and Deepens Customer Adoption as Demand for AI-Powered Security Remains Strong

Evolv

Evolv Technology reported strong expansion for its AI-powered security solutions across North American venues. The company now protects facilities in all 50 U.S. states, Canada, and Mexico.

Currently, the flagship Evolv Express screens nearly 5 million people each day. The platform rapidly approaches five billion total screenings nationwide.

In the second quarter of 2026, Evolv secured 70 additional customers. This has been their best customer acquisition pace in two years. These customers include Ryan Field at Northwestern University, Philadelphia Union soccer club, and University of Washington.

Furthermore, 60 percent of the total bookings were from the company’s existing venue partners. This trend demonstrates high renewal rates among venue operators.

“Evolv’s momentum, as demonstrated in our second quarter earnings report, reflects a simple reality: organizations are looking for security solutions that enhance public safety without compromising the experience,” said John Kedzierski, President and Chief Executive Officer of Evolv Technology. “We continue to see strong adoption from both new and existing customers as they increasingly view Evolv as a strategic security platform capable of addressing multiple screening needs across their facilities.”

Multilayered Screening Solutions Expansion

Additionally, Evolv’s automated bag scanning solution, eXpedite, experienced substantial growth. The solution has screened more than 20 million bags since its launch in late 2024. Currently, the operator team screens an average of 90,000 bags per day using the solution.

Over 100 enterprise clients now deploy eXpedite for entrance operations. Approximately 70 percent of new eXpedite buyers also adopted Evolv Express. Meanwhile, over 40 existing Express users added bag screening to unify entry workflows.

“Our results reflect the power of an integrated strategy,” said Kedzierski. “Whether customers begin with people screening, bag screening, or both, we’re increasingly becoming a trusted long-term partner in helping them create safer experiences at scale.”

Consequently, integrated AI-powered security deployments continue replacing legacy walkthrough metal detectors across major public facilities.

Crucially, the U.S. Department of Homeland Security granted SAFETY Act designation to both Evolv Express and eXpedite platforms. Federal recognition also offers protection from liability for venues using such anti-terrorism technology.

Ultimately, expanding client usage helps to increase market share for Evolv.
