Avaya officially launched Avaya Aura 10.3 to strengthen global enterprise communications. The advanced software platform provides an efficient way for large organizations and government bodies to upgrade safely. Therefore, businesses will be able to improve their infrastructure without disruption.
Complex organizations are under increasing pressure to uphold cybersecurity measures strictly. Additionally, replacing crucial communication tools entails heavy financial and operational risks.
Therefore, Avaya Aura 10.3 solves this challenge by bolstering protection for critical business workflows. The latest release also aligns core systems with modern operating standards while simplifying system management.
“Enterprises shouldn’t have to choose between operational stability and rapid innovation,” said Tony Lama, SVP and GM of Avaya Software. “Avaya Aura 10.3 bridges that gap. It gives our customers the confidence to modernize on their own terms, protecting their ecosystem today while unlocking capabilities for tomorrow.”
“When we recommend Avaya Aura to our enterprise customers, they’re looking for two things: absolute reliability and a clear path forward,” said Bob King, EVP of Network Solutions Group at Alliance Technology Group. “This updated version of Avaya Aura makes that conversation easier because it shows our customers that they can strengthen their security and modernize their existing tech stack.”
Robust Cybersecurity Compliance and Federal Standards
Security enhancements represent a core highlight of this major release. Specifically, Avaya Aura 10.3 maintains Joint Interoperability Test Command (JITC) certification.
This certificate demonstrates that the software meets the necessary cybersecurity requirements in US military contexts. Moreover, the update brings highly secure 4096-bit RSA keys for security certificates.
Finally, Avaya has improved Trellix antivirus compatibility in all JITC-certified implementations. Hence, both government organizations and enterprises get top-notch network data protection.
Enterprise Infrastructure Update and Availability in the Market
Apart from security features, the software is updated in terms of its basic architecture. The platform includes Red Hat Enterprise Linux 9.6 and VMware ESXi 9.x.
Therefore, implementations of Avaya Aura become compliant with current server and virtualization technologies. Channel partners are capable of updating their clients’ systems using their current hardware.
As per company representatives, Avaya Aura 10.3 will become generally available on September 28, 2026. Finally, the software update emphasizes the leadership position of Avaya in enterprise unified communications.
