Brazilian cloud ERP provider Conta Azul has secured a strategic partnership with Silicon Valley tech firm Oscilar. Specifically, the business adopted Oscilar’s cutting-edge agentic risk platform to manage expanding transaction hazards. Conta Azul, a prominent subsidiary of Visma, serves more than 100,000 small and medium-sized businesses across Brazil. Today, the organization is quickly scaling its financial services, moving beyond core accounting tools into digital payments.
This expansion, in turn, makes them more vulnerable to digital financial crime. Therefore, the specialized software unifies onboarding, transaction security, and internal case management. This deployment provides anti-fraud teams and engineers with a single real-time view of customer actions. As a result, analysts track users continuously from initial verification through subsequent transactions.
Furthermore, the high flexibility of the agentic risk platform played a critical role in this partnership choice. The new system integrates seamlessly with existing databases. In addition, it connects smoothly with current third-party services. This capability provides security teams with the speed and control they need. That means they can respond in real time when patterns of threat change.
Of course, the company also uses advanced AI capabilities to automate its day-to-day operations. A natural-language copilot is integrated to help employees change security rules with simple language commands. Meanwhile, an AI agent reviews historical performance to recommend system updates. The system also generates detailed case summaries automatically. Ultimately, these tools help analysts investigate threats faster.
“Brazil is an incredibly demanding fraud market and as Conta Azul grows from financial management into payments, the stakes for our customers only get higher,” said Bruno Coconici Rodrigues, Head of Fraud at Conta Azul. “We wanted a platform our team could run ourselves, building and adjusting our own rules and testing new ideas without waiting on engineering. Oscilar gives us that autonomy plus the freedom to connect our own data and the tools we already use.”
Following this deployment, the firm expects substantial operational upgrades. The agentic risk platform consolidates fragmented tools into a unified workspace. For example, the software combines KYC and KYB verification methods natively. In addition, it supports advanced fraud monitoring capabilities. Security teams can now design and test strategies independently.
“Conta Azul has spent more than a decade helping Brazilian businesses manage their finances, and as it moves deeper into payments, its fraud team has to move as fast as threats do,” said Neha Narkhede, co-founder and CEO of Oscilar. “Our platform puts that control in their hands. They build and adjust rules in plain language, and AI agents help sharpen detection as the patterns shift. We are investing heavily in Brazil and Latin America, and Conta Azul is exactly the kind of team we want to grow with.”
Advanced Risk Infrastructure for Latin America
The system also provides safe evaluation tools for new security policies. Analysts employ safe backtesting, shadow mode, and controlled rollouts. Therefore, they test changes before they go live. As the business scales globally, the entire payments business is protected by standard testing patterns. This project adds to Oscilar’s increasing footprint in Latin American financial markets. This powerful agentic risk platform ultimately ensures long-term compliance and security.
