ISACA’s digital trust workforce initiative has a goal of equipping more than 130 students for careers in technology by 2026. The digital trust workforce initiative reinforces ISACA’s determination towards the development of ready talent in the future. Additionally, the digital trust talent development initiative is geared towards equipping individuals with relevant skills.
The program will offer structured learning that will enable the participants to pursue technology-oriented careers. It will also assist the learners in developing skills that match the needs of the industry today. Therefore, it is anticipated that the participants will be better equipped to take up jobs in cybersecurity, IT governance, and digital trust professions. ISACA is also expanding its workforce development programs worldwide.
“At ISACA, we are committed to expanding access to tech careers and championing a workforce committed to advancing trust in technology,” said Julia Kanouse, ISACA Chief Membership Officer. “We are proud to continue to provide meaningful educational opportunities for those seeking to enter these professions and are thankful for support from the Caterpillar Foundation to continue the ISACA Digital Trust Workforce Development Program’s impact.”
Bridging the Tech Skills Gap Through Structured Learning
Further, another critical focus of the program is on closing the skills gap in the tech industry. Also, through this program, ISACA will help in enhancing the employability of individuals by providing learning pathways tailored to specific goals. As a result, learners will benefit from both technical expertise and practical experience. Furthermore, this program is geared towards promoting career development in high-demand digital jobs. The program was developed by ISACA owing to the rising need for skilled technology experts. This makes it critical to boost the talent pipeline. Additionally, ISACA still continues to invest in its education-based workforce programs.
“Expanding access to future‑ready skills is central to building strong, more resilient communities,” said Asha Varghese, president, Caterpillar Foundation. “Our work with the ISACA Foundation creates practical pathways that can open doors to meaningful careers. Together, we are equipping learners with the skills needed to succeed in today’s digital economy and strengthen the workforce of the future.”
