F5 today announced the expansion of its Enterprise AI security portfolio with new runtime security solutions now available to customers. The company launched F5 AI Guardrails and F5 AI Red Team solutions that protect AI models, agents, & applications in real-time. With these new solutions, organizations can now defend against threats in critical AI systems across clouds and hybrid environments. A company spokesman said. He added, No other vendor provides a holistic approach to runtime security. Of AI solutions via this combined method of continuous testing and real-time enforcement. According to the company, F5 AI Guardrails delivers model-agnostic runtime security against risks of prompt injection attacks and data exfiltration. It also enforces policies that satisfy regulatory requirements, such as GDPR and the EU AI Act.
Ensuring Dynamic AI Security in Real-Time
Additionally, Guardrails provides the team with enhanced insights into the abilities of AI input & output for governance and compliance purposes. Conversely, the F5 AI Red Team delivers scalable testing by simulating realistic attacks across large-scale production environments for evaluation. This provides the attacker’s weaknesses before deployment, which in turn informs runtime protections in the deployment environment. Further, with the combination of runtime security, current API protections, firewalls, and DDoS security, the organization gets comprehensive security without fragmented solutions. With the expansion of AI into more aspects of the business, threats spread fast, and thus the need for dynamic runtime security provided by the new product offering from F5.
“Traditional enterprise governance cannot keep up with the velocity of AI,” said Kunal Anand. “When policy lags adoption, you get data leaks and unpredictable model behavior. Organizations need defenses that are as dynamic as the models themselves. F5 AI Guardrails secures the traffic in real time, turning a black box into a transparent system. F5 AI Red Team proactively finds vulnerabilities before they reach production. This allows organizations to stop fearing risk and start shipping apps and features with confidence.”
