Analogic Corporation, a global leader in imaging and detection solutions and Analytical AI, a pioneer in artificial intelligence for threat detection have formed a strategic partnership. The aim of this collaboration is to improve security capabilities for Analogic’s ConneCT Checkpoint and SeleCT Checked Baggage Computed Tomography (CT) systems.
This partnership focuses on working together to make AI-powered software algorithms for CT-based detection. These solutions will improve explosive detection, identify prohibited items, and address emerging security challenges. They also aim to increase operational efficiency and boost the passenger experience at airports all over the world.
Enhanced Detection and Operational Efficiency
Under the agreement, Analytical AI will exclusively provide advanced AI algorithms for Analogic’s CT systems. The combined expertise of both companies promises faster development of solutions with higher accuracy and reduced false alarms.
“Our partnership with Analytical AI will accelerate delivery of effective detection solutions for our growing global customer base,” said Tom Ripp, President and CEO of Analogic Corporation. “Our CT systems already use AI-based detection, and this collaboration will further improve detection while minimizing false alarms.”
Strong Collaboration History
Analogic and Analytical AI have worked together on prior projects, which will shorten the development timeline for new products.
“Partnering with Analogic was a natural next step for us,” said Mark Froehlich, Co-founder and CEO of Analytical AI. “Our mission is aligned: to provide top-tier security while improving passenger throughput. This collaboration will deliver world-class Automated Threat Recognition algorithms for the best CT machines.”
